5th Place for Philipp and Kilmister in the 3* Grand Prix at Horses & Dreams

Last weekend, Ludger, Philipp W., Ciaran, and James made the short trip to Hagen a.T.W. for the renowned Horses & Dreams show at Hof Kasselmann – and Team Beerbaum delivered a series of strong performances.

The week kicked off on Wednesday with a clear round from James and the 7-year-old Coffee Shock in the Youngster Tour, followed by another fault-free round in Thursday’s second qualifier. In the Youngster Tour Final over 130cm, the pair had just one fault in the second phase – a promising performance from the young horse.

In the 2* Tour, the team had a solid start with four clear rounds from Philipp and Callao L, James with Dia Chapila PS, and Ciaran aboard Forlee and Serendepety. In the second qualifier, Philipp and Lady Concern du Rezidal placed 8th among a field of over 70 combinations.

Thursday also brought top results in the 3* Two-Phase 140cm class, with the 8-year-old BE Wineham and Ciaran taking first place, joined by Ludger and Chageorge who also claimed victory in their section.

The highlight of the weekend came with the 3* Grand Prix and its exciting jump-off. Philipp and Kilmister were one of just seven pairs to qualify for the final round, where a clear round in 46.17 seconds earned them an excellent fifth place – a great way to close out the show.

Looking ahead, Philipp W. will be heading to Shanghai with Team Riesenbeck International powered by HorseGym for the next leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour. Meanwhile, Christian wraps up his time in the U.S. and will return to the European circuit at the Maimarkt-Turnier in Mannheim.
