Team Beerbaum had a successful weekend at their home show in Riesenbeck and the DKB Horse Week in Hohen Wieschendorf. While Ludger, Philipp Hartmann, Ciaran and James competed with 14 horses at the CSI** in Riesenbeck, Philipp Weishaupt and Christian traveled north to the Baltic Sea for the CSI4*.

The weekend got off to a successful start for our young horses in Riesenbeck, as James won the opening class of the Youngster Tour with the 7-year-old Cazaan's Cecotto B and Ciaran placed third with Ogana Sitte SR. In the Youngster Tour final, Team Beerbaum claimed the win as Ciaran and Ogana Sitte SR won the test with a lightning-fast second phase, with Cazaan's Cecotto B and James close behind in second place. Coffee Shock piloted by James also impressed on all days with three clear rounds. Throughout the weekend Zinedine's daughter Zendaya and After Eight under Philipp H. and Little Special in Red M under Ciaran also showed harmonious and penalty-free rounds.

DSP Oganero P, who is available to our breeders at the Beerbaum stallion station via fresh semen, was presented by Philipp H on both Thursday and Friday in the medium tour over 135cm and 140cm. He impressed on both days with confident clear rounds. Zodiak (by Zinedine) also placed in the Small Tour final under Philipp H..

There was no shortage of success for Team Beerbaum in Hohen Wieschendorf either. On Thursday, Christian and Chageorge took home third place in the 4* Tour over 145cm. While, Philipp and Oreo D.R. followed with a fast and clear round, finishing in fifth place. Espoir Blanc Cristal placed 5th in the 4* 155cm class under Christian and Callao earned a placing in the 145cm class. In the 2* Tour over 140cm, the 8-year-old Lady Concern du Rezidal completed two clear rounds and took home placings in both classes. In the 2* Grand Prix with jump-off, 8-year-old Viki van Gogh took 4th place after a fast and clear jump-off.

The highlight of the weekend at the Baltic Sea was the 4* Grand Prix with a jump-off on Sunday afternoon. Oreo D.R. and Philipp unfortunately had a rail in round one, but Christian and Chageorge remained clear and qualified for the jump-off with 8 other pairs. As the last pair to start in the jump-off, they were in the ideal starting position and were able to beat the time of Jens Wawrauschek, who had been leading until then, by a very narrow margin of 7 hundredths. In the end, it was victory for Chageorge and Christian.

Next week, the Hamburg Derby is on the schedule for Christian, Philipp and Ciaran.
