This past Tuesday and Wednesday, everything revolved around our young horses competing at the Late Entry show in Riesenbeck. While Ciaran and Philipp W. have already traveled from Miami to Mexico City for the next leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, James and Filippo competed on home ground in Riesenbeck.
Right in the first class of the show, a jumping competition over 125cm for 6- to 8-year-old horses, both riders secured placings. Filippo aboard the 7-year-old Conrad and James with the 6-year-old Agassi WS Z.
The youngest horses in the stable also impressed.In the young horse class over 105cm, the 5-year-old India, ridden by James, received a score of 7.8 and finished in fourth place. In the following young horse class (115cm), James managed to place all three of his horses among the top three. The two 6-year-old geldings, Zinado and Piet van t’Loo, both scored 8.4, finishing second. The 5-year-old Come True de Maya followed closely behind with a score of 8.3, taking third place. Zinado (Zinedream x Cornado I) improved further in the subsequent class (120cm), earning a score of 8.5 and winning his class. Piet van t’Loo and Come True de Maya also showed good rounds with James, finishing the day in fifth and sixth place with scores of 8.2 and 8.1.
Ciaran and Philipp W. are already set to compete today in the next leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Mexico City. On Friday, the Global Champions League is scheduled, where the two will compete alongside our former Beerbaum Stables rider Christian Kukuk for Team Riesenbeck International.
