Forlee is a model athlete, who proves his outstanding prospects with victories and top placings in the international youngster tours of Oliva (ESP), Riesenbeck and Kronenberg (NED). He comes from the ingenious mating of the stallion of the century For Pleasure to the 2018 World Young Horse Champion and Grand Prix winner Chao Lee.

Following his licensing, Forlee completed his HLP 2020 in Adelheidsdorf with a score of 9.5: 10 for free jumping, character and willingness to perform as well as interior. He dominated his sport test with a score of 9.22. Under his breeder's daughter Katrin Eckermann, he won a series of tests for young show jumpers, also won the Bundeschampionat qualifier for six-year-olds with a score of 9.1 and placed in the final.

Three of Forlee's sons have already been licensed. His offspring are off to a very promising start in the sport.

His sire is the two-time Olympic team gold medal winner and three-time European Championship team gold medal winner For Pleasure.

His dam Chao Lee won the Bundeschampionat for five-year-olds in 2018 under Katrin Eckermann, placed in the final for six-year-olds in 2019 and won gold at the World Show Jumping Championships. In the meantime, she has finished second in the Global Champions Tour in Madrid (ESP) and Paris (FRA) as well as in the Nations Cup in Mannheim and third in the Global Champions Tour stages in Riesenbeck, Mexico City (MEX) and Rome (ITA).

The dam's sire is the European Championship team silver medalist and individual fifth-placed Comme il faut [Marcus Ehning], was bred by Ludger Beerbaum and has his Olympic champion Ratina Z as his dam. He is the sire of the Olympic champion Checker ridden by Christian Kukuk.
