Last Thursday, the 7-year-old Little Special in Red by I’m Special de Muze x Calido I delivered an impressive clear round in the opening competition of the Youngster Tour heldduring the German Championships in Balve, narrowly missing out on a placing. On Saturday, the pair had a bit of bad luck and incurred a rail down in the challenging 135cm course. In theYoungster Tour Final on Sunday morning, the mare once again showed a confident and clearround, just like on the first day, and with a fast second phase, the pair secured 3rd place.
The 8-year-old Be Wineham also returned to Riesenbeck with a top placing. In a 140cm classfrom the 2* Tour on Saturday, the Cuick Star Kervec daughter impressed with her typicallyconfident and speedy performance. In the end, it was 4th place for Ciaran and Be Wineham.
While Ciaran competed in Balve during the German Championships, Philipp and Christian traveled with Team Riesenbeck International powered by Horse Gym to the French Rivierafor the Longines Global Champions Tour St. Tropez. The weekend began successfully: on Thursday, the two secured 3rd place for the team in the Global Champions League, markingtheir second podium finish this season.
On Sunday, the LGCT Grand Prix was on the agenda: Philipp, as in the team competitions, rode Oreo D.R., while Christian chose Cepano Baloubet. With a slight error, Christian and the11-year-old Chaman offspring just missed the jump-off, but Philipp and Oreo D.R. delivered a confident round to qualify. They remained clear in the jump-off as well and concluded theweekend with 7th place in the Grand Prix of St. Tropez.
Now we’re looking forward tot he LGCT Paris and the CSIO5* Rotterdam this upcomingweekend.
