Last weekend, most riders and horses from Beerbaum Stables had a competition-free weekend after some demanding previous weeks. Only Philipp traveled with three horses to our neighboring country, namely to the 3* CSI Indoor Friesland in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. With Lady Concern du Rezidal, Callao L, and Kilmister, he competed from Thursday to Saturday in the 3* Tour classes.
Callao L had an especially good weekend, already finishing in the Top 10 in the first class of the Small Tour on Thursday. On Friday, Callao L then started in the Big Tour in a 150 cm class with a jump-off and managed to qualify for the jump-off with a clear round. In the jump-off, the pair unfortunately had two rails down, but it was still enough for another Top-10 placing for the Riesenbeck duo. Callao L remained clear again in the Small Tour final on Saturday.
In the challenging course of the 3* Grand Prix, where only four of the 44 pairs stayed clear, Philipp and Lady Concern du Rezidal finished the weekend in the Netherlands with 8 penalty points.
Already on Thursday, Team Beerbaum will be back in action, as the next CSI** is taking place on home ground in Riesenbeck. While Christian is traveling to Riyadh for the final leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, Ludger, Christian, Ciaran, and James will be competing in Riesenbeck.
