The latest show week began last Thursday for the riders of Team Beerbaum. While Philipp W. travelled all the way to Brittany, France with Coby, Oreo D.R., Kilmister and Callao L to compete in the CSI5* Jumping de Dinard, while James and Philipp H. made their way to the Dutch border for the Hetzel Young Horse Masters, and Ciaran competed in the CSI2* Zuidwolde in the Netherlands.

Dinard

On the first day of the tournament in Dinard, Coby and Callao L both placed in the 3* Tour, and their success continued on Friday, where Kilmister placed in a 5* Tour competition over 145 cm, and Callao L also brought home another placing from the 3* competition over 150 cm. On Sunday morning, Philipp and Coby competed in the 3* Grand Prix, followed by a jump-off. Nineteen of the 50 pairs qualified for the jump-off with a clear round, including Philipp and Coby. Only the newly crowned European Champion, Richard Vogel was faster in the saddle with Phenyo van het Keysersbos, so in the end it was an outstanding second place for Philipp and Coby in Dinard.

Hetzel Young Horse Masters

The Beerbaum team achieved several placings and showed confidence at the Hetzel Young Horse Masters. The first highlight of the weekend was Zinedine's daughter Zendaya, ridden by Philipp H., taking third place in the 130 cm M** class for 6-year-old horses on Thursday. In the same class Philipp H. takes home yet another ribbon with Unique. The success continued in the first competition of the day on Friday, which was another M** level class over 130 cm for 6-year-old horses, Zendaya placed once again, and Oberon piloted by James remained faultless and placed. James and Elzandor Z placed on Friday evening with a clear round in the S* class (140 cm) show jumping competition.

On Saturday, the final for 6-year-old horses took place, an M** 135cm class with a jump-off. Of the 49 pairs that started, 20 qualified to compete in the jump-off, including James with Oberon and Philipp with Unique and Zendaya. All three showed a fast and confident round, which was rewarded with 5th, 8th and 11th place in this final.

Zuidwolde

The weekend also got off to a successful start at the CSI2* in Zuidwolde. The first class was a two-phase class over 130 cm ( 1* Big Tour), where Ogana Sitte SR showed a fast clear round at the start and finished third. Forlee also performed confidently in the opening jumping competition of the 2* Silver Tour and remained faultless. The success continued on Friday, as Ogana Sitter SR won the second competition of the 1* Big Tour. The 7-year-old Little Special in Red M competed in the 2* Bronze Tour over 135 cm on Saturday and took home 7th place with a clear second phase.

The 7-year-old Ogana Sitte Sr (Ogano Sitte x For Pleasure) deserves special mention this weekend, as after coming third in the opening class and winning on Friday, she was also astounding on Sunday in the 1* Grand Prix over 135 cm. Seventeen of the 50 pairs completed the course without faults and were qualified for the subsequent jump-off, including Ciaran and Ogana Sitte Sr. Without a single penalty point throughout the entire weekend, the mare finished the tournament with a magnificent third place in the 1* Grand Prix.

We look back on another successful weekend for our riders and horses and are already looking forward to our next show week, where Team Beerbaum will be competing at CSI4* Valkenswaard and at the Westfalen Week in Münster Handorf.
