The riders of Team Beerbaum were once again successful at both national and international tournaments this weekend. While Ciaran and James were competing in the neighbouring town Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, Ludger travelled to Altenberge, and Christian competing in Belgium with four horses at the CSI2* Bonheiden.

Ciaran earned his first placings on Wednesday. With a score of 8.4, the 5-year-old Zados R initially placed 4th in the 110cm L class and then followed with a 3rd in the subsequent 120cm M* class with a score of 8.5. Impress de Jolie also placed in this competition with a score of 8.2. On Thursday, Little Special in Red M achieved another placing in the 130cm M** class, and then additionally placed on Saturday in the 140cm two phase S* class. James and Charthago de Maya Z also earned a placing in this competition. On Saturday, Ciaran competed with Espoir Blanc Cristal in a S** class (145 cm), with a clear round, which qualified the pair for the jump off. However, in the jump off they had one knockdown, but in the end still earned 12th place in the most challenging class of the weekend.

In the neighbouring town Altenberge, Ludger collected placings with Dynar and Be Gledis. While Dynar took second place in a Youngster 125cm M* class for 6-9-year-old horses, Be Gledis came third in the Youngster S* class with two phases (140 cm). In the Altenberge Grand Prix, Be Gledis had a clear round in the first phase, qualifying the pair for the subsequent jump-off. In the end, the 9-year-old Be Gledis and Ludger finished in 11th place with one knockdown in the jump-off.

At the CSI2* in Bonheiden, the 7-year-old Cee Kay was particularly impressive in the Youngster Tour, remaining faultless on all days. In the first and second classes, he placed 10th and 12th under Christian. In the Youngster Tour final with jump-off on Saturday, he qualified for the jump-off and took home 3rd place with a fast and confident round. In the 145cm 2* ranking class on Friday with two rounds, the 8-year-old Viki van Gogh impressed with two clear rounds and a fast time in the second round, placing her in second place.

Next weekend, our riders will be heading to the 4* Tournament of Champions in Münster and the Longines Global Champions Tour in Valkenswaard.
