This weekend, Team Beerbaum was once again successful at both the national and international level. Christian made the trip to Brussels, while Ciaran, James and Ludger travelled to Bad Rothenfelde.

Brussels Stephex Masters 2025

After Christian’s success at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Valkenswaard, he travelled to Brussels for the Brussels Stephex Masters 2025. He was accompanied by the 11-year-old Just Be Gentle, the 8-year-old Viki Van Gogh and the 7-year-old Cee Kay.

On Thursday, Cee Kay jumped a confident clear round in a CSIYH two-phase class for 7- and 8-year-old horses (135-140cm). Christian and Cee Kay unfortunately had to accept one time fault in the second phase, leaving them out of the placings. On Friday, the pair also completed a faultless round in the 135/140cm CSIYH class.

On Friday, Christian represented Team Germany with Just Be Gentle in the 160cm CSIO5* NATIONS CUP. Unfortunately, the pair had one fault in the first round but remained clear in the second round. Team Germany ultimately finished in fifth place.

Viki Van Gogh also performed brilliantly on Friday. She completed a clear round with Christian in the 145cm speed class. The pair produced another clear round on Saturday, remaining faultless in both phases of the CSIO5* 145 cm class.

Bad Rothenfelde

While Christian was in Brussels, Ciaran, James and Ludger competed at a national show in Bad Rothenfelde. To start the weekend off strong, Team Beerbaum earned placings early on Thursday. James competed in the 115cm style class with two 5-year-old horses: Chase 8, a descendant of the Beerbaum stallion Comme le père, who earned a score of 7.9, and Agassi WS, who received a well-deserved score of 8.0.

Ciaran continued the success, placing twice on Thursday. The 6-year-old Taggi 25 received an excellent score of 9.0 in the 120cm style class and came first in the second division. In the same class, the 5-year-old gelding Zados R, a descendant of the Beerbaum stallion Zinedine, took second place in the first division with a score of 8.8.

The Beerbaum team continued to earn further placings on Saturday. Ciaran and Ludger both placed in the 130cm M** class, where Ciaran won in the first division with 7-year-old Ogana Sitte SR performing a super-fast clear round and Ludger came seventh with a confident round from Be Gledis. In the subsequent class, a two-phase 140cm S* class, Ludger and Dynar 3 rode to sixth place out of a total of 61 participants with a fabulous clear round.

Ludger and the 8-year-old Dynar 3 achieved a perfect end to the weekend on Sunday. After a flawless opening round in the 140cm Grand Prix of Bad Rothenfelder Reitertage, the pair were able to prove their skills once again in the jump-off. With a speedy clear round in the jump-off, Ludger and Dynar 3 secured the victory, bringing home another rosette to Riesenbeck.

Next weekend, Christian will travel to Calgary for the CSIO5* in Canada, while Ciaran and James will compete in the Al Shira'aa Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.
