On Tuesday and Wednesday, our riders were already back in action at the next show. With many young horses in tow, Ciaran, James, and Filippo headed to the nearby event facility in Riesenbeck for two days of national competition. Ludger also competed with two horses in the S* class of the Pro Tour.

The show began for our team on Tuesday with a jumping competition at M** level for 6- to 8-year-old horses. The 8-year-old Trouble Lady EQ Z, ridden by James, finished in 7th place. In the S* class, victory went to Ludger aboard the 8-year-old Dynar, with a lead of more than two seconds. Third place also stayed within the Beerbaum Stables team, as James and Dia Chapila PS secured that position — the pair had also taken third place just a few weeks ago in the U25 Grand Prix during the World Cup event in Herning.

The second day began with the focus on our young horses. In the Start Up Tour, presented by Ludgers Pferdefutter, the 4-year-old Come True de Maya, ridden by James, scored an 8.0 in the young horse jumping competition at A** level. In the following class at L level, several of our young horses impressed once again. The current Vice Bundeschampion Zados R(Zinedream x Congress), bred by Carsten Ronne, delivered a strong performance under Ciaran to win the class with a score of 9.2. Ciaran’s second horse in the class, Kadanz van de Krommeweg Z (Komme Casall TN x Latour VDM), also showed great promise and received a score of 8.8, finishing in second place. Ascaro O, presented by Filippo, was awarded an 8.2 and placed fifth. Come True de Maya, who had already impressed in the previous test, also earned another placing here, finishing sixth with a score of 8.1.

In the next young horse class at M* level, another victory went to Team Beerbaum. This time it was James who claimed the win aboard Agassi WS (5 years old / Aganix du Seigneur x Cassini I) with a score of 8.8. Ascaro O, already placed in the previous class, showed consistency once again and finished third with Filippo, scoring 8.3. The final class of the day, another M* jumping competition, brought yet another victory: Circle of Friends (6 years old / Colestus x Colman) secured the win under Ciaran with a fast and faultless round over the 120 cm course.

Four wins and numerous placings went to Team Beerbaum over the two days in Riesenbeck, and we are delighted with the promising progress of our young horses.
