Last weekend, our riders competed at four different shows and secured at least one victory at each event for Team Beerbaum. In Falsterbo, Sweden, Philipp W. competed with four horses and claimed victory in Saturday’s second qualifier for the 2* Grand Prix aboard the 9-year-old Callao L, who has consistently impressed with outstanding performances over the past few weeks. In the final for 7-year-old horses, Belice delivered a clear round to qualify for the jump-off. The pair also stayed clear in the jump-off and, thanks to a fast time, finished in third place.
In Valkenswaard, the Netherlands, the 8-year-old Little Special in Red M, ridden by Ciarán, impressed by winning her 2* 1.40 m class on Sunday in convincing fashion. The mare had already jumped a clear round in her class on Friday. In the Youngster Tour Final, the 6-year-old Zilana performed confidently, completing both the first round and the jump-off without penalties. The pair eventually finished in tenth place.
In Ahlhorn, it was James with the 5-year-old Elliot O who secured another win for Team Beerbaum. In Friday’s M* (1.20 m) young horse class, the pair impressed the judges and were rewarded with a score of 8.7 and the victory.
At the nearby show in Münster-Roxel, James had already secured the first win of the weekend for Team Beerbaum. Riding the 6-year-old Havanero Blue, he won the M* (1.20 m) young horse class with an outstanding score of 9.0. His second horse, the also 6-year-old Piet van 't Loo, finished second with a score of 8.6. Ferrari v/h Sassenbroek Z, ridden by Philipp Schulze Topphoff, also received a score of 8.6, meaning the two stablemates shared second place.
The fifth victory of the weekend was secured by Philipp ST aboard Ascaro O. Riding the 6-year-old son of Asca, bred by Franz-Georg Ottmann, he won the M** (1.35 m) class by almost two seconds.
